Service Description

Individuals, companies and government entities may submit a traffic diversion plan online to the Roads Operations and Maintenance of the Assets Affairs Sector at the Public Works Authority "Ashghal". All plans shall be submitted to Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP) Approvals Office prior to any works being undertaken on the road.

Online Instructions

  • Login to Ashghal Customer Zone Portal, then click on "Apply".
  • Click "Login to Apply", entering the username and password.
  • Attach the following documents:
    • TMP Drawings, TDP registration form, and stakeholder management plan.
    • Method statement for installation of temporary traffic management, and risk assessment
    • Implementation plan, and contingency plan.
    • Clearance plan, program of inspections, and Qatari ID.
    • Company license / trading certificate, and compliance inspection report.
  • Click on "Submit".

Additional Information

  • A TDP is a set of documents containing full details of the work zone Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) operation, covering all processes required to plan, implement, maintain and decommission TTM in a safe and efficient manner.
  • If you have not applied online, you will be required to visit the Traffic Diversion Plan Office, on wholesale market street to register.
  • This service may require some paperwork, signatures, timelines or advice on the Work Zone Traffic Management Guide and Ashghal standards.
