Description

Chartered accountants or Audit Control Department officers may submit a request to the Admission Committee of Chartered Accountants at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to transfer a chartered accountant from one register to another.

Online Instructions

• Log in to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
• Choose “Transfer Chartered Accountant from One Register to Another” service from the “Chartered Accountants Services” list.
• Read general instructions, then click on “Agree”.
• Enter applicant data, with the possibility of amending email and cell phone, then click on “Next”.
• Complete all the required information online.
• Attach all the following documents:
• Copy of QID
• Copy of registration certificate
• No objection letter from office or company on transfer of registration
• Review and adopt application data summary and submit your application.
• Pay appropriate fees and print registration certificate.

Offline Instructions

• Visit the receptionist at MOCI building.
• Provide all required information and documents.
• Pay appropriate fees and print registration certificate.

Additional Information

Applicable fees can be paid using MOCI mobile app, e-services gate or in person by visiting MOCI premises.

Fees

Applicable fees are as follows:

• Renewal of Individual chartered accountant registration in case of transfer to the employed register and registration is expired: QR2,000.
• Transfer of chartered accountant to unemployed chartered accountants register: QR2,000.
