Request to Upgrade Certificate Category – Ministry of Finance

Service Description

This service allows suppliers, service providers and contractors to update some data and information that will enable them to upgrade the category of their certificates to a higher level through Monaqasat Portal of the Ministry of Finance (MOF)

Online Instructions

  • Login to Monaqasat Portal.
  • Click on “Applications List”.
  • Choose the classified application whose certificate you want to upgrade, then click on the “Online Classification Requests”.
  • Choose “Upgrade Certificate” from the drop-down list of request types available.
  • Choose the certificates you want to upgrade and the new grade you wish to upgrade to for each certificate.
  • Choose the type of data you wish to upgrade based on.
  • Attach the required documents.
  • Submit your request for review after verifying that the date is entered correctly.

Fees

  • 200 QR per certificate for Suppliers and Service Providers.
  • 1000 QR per certificate for Contractors in case the application is approved and the certificates are issued by the Ministry of Finance.
  • In the event of upgrading within 6 months from the date of the original classification of the certificate, double the amount will be paid.

Additional Information

  • Once the application data is validated and approved by the Ministry of Finance staff, a notification will be sent to the applicant.
  • The user must have at least one completed and categorized classification request (Company) to modify its data.
  • After paying the certificate fees, certificates are issued automatically and can be downloaded through the website for a period of 7 days from the date of payment.
