Request to Reissue Lost or Damaged Title Deed

Description

Individuals and Companies may submit a request online to the Real Estate Registrations Department at the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to reissue lost or damaged title deed.  

Online Instructions

  • Login to Sak portal using your username and password on Hukoomi.
  • Select “Real Estate Registration Services”, then “Real Estate Services”, and then “Reissue damaged tittle deed”.
  • Enter the Owner QID or the real estate number.
  • Click on Add Attachment to attach the following required documents:
    • Personal identification (copy of QID/ passport) for natural person
    • Copy of valid commercial registration, establishment ID and commercial license (for juridical person).
    • The original title deed.
    • The damaged title deed
    • An advertisement in an official newspaper.
    • Copy of valid power of attorney, in case the signature on the document is based on a power of attorney
  • Other documents (determination of heirs, letter from the General Authority for Minor Affairs, entities’ approvals)
  • Click on Save Attachments.
  • Pay appropriate fees and submit your request.

Fees

500 QR for each transaction.

Additional Information

  • After the request gets submitted, this message will be displayed: The application has been submitted successfully (request number) and pending is the Department’s approval.
  • The request will be directed to the Registration Department to review the contract and specify the approval or rejection.
  • A message will be sent to all parties of the transaction with the status of the request.
  • Within two working days, the application will be approved or rejected, clarifying the reasons. In case the request is approved, the parties of the transaction must go to one of the branches of MOJ to complete the application.
  • The party’s data is verified through the QID number, along with its expiry date.
  • The user must be registered on Hukoomi portal, to be able to access the National Authentication System.
  • The transaction may be submitted by a representative, who will not be considered as one of the parties in the transaction.
  • The transaction may also be completed by visiting any of the Single Window branches affiliated to MOJ or through Sak mobile app.
