Qataris, whether citizens or owners of animal resources, may submit a request to the Department of Supply and Strategic Inventory at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to issue a new supply (ration) card.
Online Instructions
Log in to the citizen portal.
Click on Request to Print a Replacement Card for a Lost/Damaged Card on the main page.
Fill out the required information and attach the following documents:
In case of lost or damaged card: Copy of QID
In case of head of household’s death: Copy of death certificate, copy of QID or copy of birth certificates of children
In case of divorce: Copy of divorce certificate, copy of QID and copy of birth certificates of children and copy of child custody certificate
To follow up on previously submitted application:
Log in to the citizen portal.
Click on “Request to print a lost/damaged card” and the status of the request (pending - rejected - approved) will appear.
If approved, you will be able to pay online.
Offline Instructions
Download and fill in the paper form, then submit it to the Department of Supply and Strategic Inventory at MOCI.
Attach all the required, above-mentioned documents.
Pay appropriate fees after the application is reviewed and registered.
In case of submitting an online request, it is received, reviewed and approved then returned to the customer to pay the appropriate fees. The ration card is then issued by the competent officer, and this takes 1-2 working days.
In case a paper form request is submitted, it is reviewed and registered, and the card is issued within 5-7 minutes.
In case of paper forms, applications are received at the Department branches during the official working hours from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm.
The applicant receives the ration card along with a password after signing on a receipt confirming delivery of card and another receipt confirming reissuance of a damaged or lost ration card.
