Description
Individuals and companies may submit a request to the Intellectual Property Protection Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to reissue a lost copyright certificate.
Online Instructions
- Log in to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
- Choose “Request to Reissue Copyright Certificate” service from the “Copyright Services” list.
- Read general instructions, then click on “Agree”.
- Enter applicant data, then click on “Next”.
- Complete all the required information online.
- No objection letter from office or company on transfer of registration
- Review and adopt application data summary and submit your application.
- Pay appropriate fees and print the certificate.
Offline Instructions
- Visit the MOCI headquarters or any of its branches.
- Submit an official letter by the work owner and provide the details of the work previously deposited and copyrighted at the Department.
- Attach power of attorney document (in case of a request submitted by the agent).
- Pay appropriate fees.

Additional Information
After the application is submitted and the certificate fees are paid, the Department prepares a certificate based on the records, and it is handed over to the concerned party.
Fees
Applicable fees are as follows:
- Students: QR50.
- Individuals: QR50.
- Companies and institutions: QR200.
- Educational or research institutions: QR250.
