Request to Reclassify Expired Certificates – Ministry of Finance

Service Description

This service allows suppliers, service providers and contractors to to update their classification information and reissue their expired classification certificates through Monaqasat Portal of the Ministry of Finance (MOF).

Online Instructions

  • Login to Monaqasat Portal.
  • Click on “Applications List”.
  • Choose the classified application that you want to reclassify the certificates for, then click on the “Online Classification Requests”.
  • Choose “Reclassification of expired certificate” from the drop-down list of request types available.
  • Click on "Continue” to reopen the classification request for editing.
  • Click on “Edit” after reopening the request from the applications list page.
  • Update any new data or files in the request, then send it for review.


  • 200 QR per certificate for Suppliers and Service Providers.
  • 1000 QR per certificate for Contractors, in case the application is approved and the certificates are issued by MOF.

Additional Information

  • The user must have at least one completed and categorized classification request (Company) to modify its data.
  • After paying the certificate fees, certificates are issued automatically and can be downloaded through the website for a period of 7 days from the date of payment.
  • Once the application data is validated and approved by the MOF staff, a notification is sent to the applicant.
  • The user must have a valid login account on Monaqasat Portal.
  • The user Must have at least one expired or almost expired classification certificate (1 month before expiry date).
