Service Description

Individuals, businesses and government entities may submit a request to Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" to conduct inspection of an electricity or water meter, with additional, applicable inspection fees to be added later to the consupmtion bill.

Online Instructions

  • Log in to KAHRAMAA website.
  • Select “Meter Complaints” service from the e-services list.
  • Select electricity number.
  • Select meter type (electricity, water).
  • Click on "Submit".

Additional Information

  • All dues and arrears must be paid before obtaining the service.
  • A request to check an electricity or water meter will not be submitted until 60 days have passed from the closing of the previous meter inspection request, if any.
  • This service is available to people with disabilities.
  • This service is also available via KAHRAMAA mobile app.
  • This service can be obtained 24/7.
  • This service will be delivered within 3 working days.

Fees

QR50 is added to the monthly bill if the meter is working properly. However, if the meter is out of order, it is fixed with no additional fees.
