Description

Local investors may submit a request to the Commercial Registration and Licenses Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to change the owner name in case of an institution or a limited liability company owned by one person.

Online Instructions

• Login to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
• Select “Commercial Registration Amendment”, then enter institution’s basic data.
• Attach the following documents:
  • Authenticated sale contract
  • Letter of acknowledgment in case of changing company owner
  • Approval of competent authorities for commercial activities, in case the activity requires approval.
  • Copies of personal identification cards of new and old owners as well as applicant, or passport for non-Qataris.
  • Review and adopt application data summary.
  • Pay appropriate fees to have the commercial register issued after making the required amendments.

Offline Instructions

• Download and fill out the paper form, signed by the authorized signatory, then submit it to the public service officer at MOCI or any of its branches.
• Attach the above-mentioned, required documents.
• Pay appropriate fees to have the commercial register issued after making the required amendments.
