Description

Chartered accountants or Audit Control Department officers may submit a request to the Admission Committee of Chartered Accountants at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to register an intern chartered accountant.

The training period shall be in accordance with Article no.6 of Law no.30 of 2004 as follows:

• One year for holders of Ph.D or associate degrees from accredited institutes, societies, associations or accounting authorities.
• Two years for holders of Master’s degree in accounting.
• Three years for holders of bachelor’s degree.

Online Instructions

• Log in to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
• Choose “Registration of Intern Chartered Accountant” service from the “Chartered Accountants Services” list.
• Read general instructions, then click on “Agree”.
• Enter applicant data, with the possibility of amending email and cell phone, then click on “Next”.
• Complete all the required information online.
• Attach all the required documents.
• Review and adopt application data summary and submit your application.
• Pay appropriate fees and print registration certificate.

Offline Instructions

• Visit the receptionist at MOCI building.
• Provide all required information and documents.
• Pay appropriate fees and print registration certificate.

Additional Information

Applicable fees can be paid using MOCI mobile app, e-services gate or in person by visiting MOCI premises.
