Description

Local individual institutions may submit a request to the Admission Committee of Chartered Accountants at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to issue a registration license of an accounting partnership company in the Register of Practicing Chartered Accountants for companies.

Online Instructions

• Log in to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
• Choose “Registration of Accounting Partnership Company” service from the “Chartered Accountants Services” list.
• Read general instructions, then click on “Agree”.
• Enter applicant data, with the possibility of amending email and cell phone, then click on “Next”.
• Select trade name of the accounting partnership company to be registered, then click on “Next”.
• Attach required documents on company, partners and accountants.
• Review and adopt application data summary and submit your application.
• Pay appropriate fees after the application is approved and an SMS is received.
• Receive copy of certificate via email and print it out.

Additional Information

• Before starting the application, trade name reservation is required. Once the application is submitted and the required approvals are issued, the commercial license is issued, then applicable fees for company registration are paid to issue the registration certification.
• The Audit Control Department head reviews the accounting partnership company registration request and refers it to the Admission Committee of Chartered Accountants - in case of no remarks - or returns it to the applicant to apply any amendments.
• Applicable fees can be paid using MOCI mobile app, e-services gate or in person by visiting MOCI premises.

Fees

Applicable fees are as follows:

• Registration of accounting partnership company: QR7,000.
• Registration of legal accountant (new individual): QR5,000.
