Service Description
This service allows a non-Qatari lawyer to request to cooperate or participate with a Qatari lawyer to plead a specific case through the Lawyers Portal on the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) website.
Online Instructions
- Visit the e-services page on MOJ website.
- Select the “Lawyers Portal” service.
- Login to the Lawyers Portal by using your username and password.
- Select “Request Permission to Plead” Service.
- Enter the required details.
- Attach the following documents:
- Request from the Qatari lawyer
- Documents proving the non-Qatari lawyer’s registration in his/her country
- A power of attorney proving the relationship of the non-Qatari lawyer to the case or the subject of the request
- An extract from the jurisdiction (courts), showing the case number and data
- Submit your request.
Fees
No fees are required for this service.
