Service Description

This service allows a non-Qatari lawyer to request to cooperate or participate with a Qatari lawyer to plead a specific case through the Lawyers Portal on the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) website.

Online Instructions

  • Visit the e-services page on MOJ website.
  • Select the “Lawyers Portal” service.
  • Login to the Lawyers Portal by using your username and password.
  • Select “Request Permission to Plead” Service.
  • Enter the required details.
  • Attach the following documents:
    • Request from the Qatari lawyer
    • Documents proving the non-Qatari lawyer’s registration in his/her country
    • A power of attorney proving the relationship of the non-Qatari lawyer to the case or the subject of the request
    • An extract from the jurisdiction (courts), showing the case number and data
  • Submit your request.

No fees are required for this service.
