Request Periodic Update of Labor Record

Service Description

Establishments may submit a request to the Work Permit Department at the Ministry of Labor (MOL) to amend and update the details of an existing establishment record, previously registered at MOL.
The amendment is made to the establishment record details in MOL system, and examples include updating the establishment ID details, contact details and address, updating commercial registration (CR) details, updating commercial license details, or adding a commercial license. The procedure is completed when the establishment record details are saved within MOL system.

Online Instructions

  • Open “Periodic update of the labor record” service, then click on “Apply”.
  • Select ‘QFC Portal/ Establishments Portal/ Governmental Entities’ from the ‘Login Method’ list.
  • Log in to the National Authentication System ‘Tawtheeq’ using a smart card. 
  • Enter all the required details and submit your application.

  • Service conditions and requirements:
    • Conditions: 
      • A record for the establishment requesting the service, previously registered at MOL.
      • No applications of the same type under processing.
      • A valid establishment ID (EID).
      • A valid CR if its details are provided in the application.
      • A valid commercial license if its details are provided in the application.
      • Exact match between the CR number retrieved in the commercial license details and the CR of the establishment.
      • Exact match between the personal phone numbers of individuals entered in the application.
      • No amendment by the application to the establishment details retrieved from external entities in the application.
    • Requirements: 
      • A smart card to verify the identity of the person authorized in the establishment to use the service through “Tawtheeq”.
      • No suspension for the establishment preventing it from using the service.
      • A valid establishment ID (EID) upon requesting the service.
  • Service Submission Timings: Sunday to Thursday, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
