Service Description

Farm owners may submit a request to the Farm Affairs Department at the Ministry of Municipality (MoM) to obtain a project permit for dates pressing and packaging inside registered farms only.

Offline Instructions

• Download and fill out the paper form, then submit it to the Agricultural Affairs Department at MoM.
• Attach the following documents:

• • Copy of QID of farm owner or tenant
  • Copy of valid farm ownership card
  • In case the farm is government and rented to a company: Copy of establishment ID and commercial registration
  • Letter from farm owner to request establishing the project, addressed to the Agricultural Affairs Department
  • In case of representative: Letter of authorization from farm owner to complete procedures
  • Copy of QID of representative
  • Environmental permit for the project, issued from the Environmental Assessment Department
  • Technical review and preliminary layouts including short description on each of:
    • Buildings required for the project and their layouts
    • Sources of water, electricity and sewage
    • Expected workforce
    • Tools and equipment
    • Ways of waste disposal

    • Ways of waste disposal
    • Technical specifications of factory

Additional Information

• The farm shall be registered and under the classification (A or B).
• There shall be no violations against the farm.
• The project shall be allocated only for farm production of dates and not serving any other farms.
• The area planted with palm trees in the farm shall not exceed 50,000 square meters.
• If the project is approved, the area allocated for building project facilities shall not exceed 1000 square meters.
