Service Description

Qatari citizens are eligible for a housing installation loan of up to QR 1.2 million, by virtue of the regulations of the Housing Department in the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor, and Social Affairs.

Offline Instructions

• Download and fill out the application form.
• Attach the following documents:
  • Copy of Personal ID Card
  • Original deed of the property and accompanying plans (from the seller)
  • Guarantee from the bank where the client’s salary is deposited
  • An undated warranty check to the order of QDB in the amount of the down payment (warranty amount of QR 150,000)
  • In case of applicant’s death, the following documents should be provided: identification of heirs, authorization by the persons named in the applicant’s identification of heirs, and death certificate.
• Submit the application to Qatar Development Bank.

Method of Reimbursement

• Monthly Installment: The value of the monthly installment is QR 3,365. In the event construction takes longer than two years, the value is subject to increase without an addition to the fees and total amount.
• Defrayment Period: 35 years
• Grace Period: 2 years
• Furnishing Grant: The citizen is eligible for it.
• Collection of installments begins either after two years from the date of conclusion of the contract, or upon receipt of the full amount by the property owner, whichever is earlier.

Fees

The loan incurs an administrative fee of QR 210,500 only.
