Service Description

This service enables taxpayer to submit a justified request for exemption from the financial penalties that were imposed in accordance with the tax laws for the violations committed by him (delay in tax registration, delay in submitting tax returns, and delay in payment of tax dues).

Online Instructions

• Login to Dhareeba portal.
• Taxpayer must click on the Tax identification number.
• After clicking on the "Requests" list, the taxpayer clicks "Create" in the "Request for Exemption from Financial Sanctions" panel.
• The taxpayer must read the instructions carefully and then click on the "Start Now" button.
• The taxpayer then makes a choice from the “Select the penalty” screen.
• The taxpayer is directed to the next screen "Determining Causes".
• The taxpayer then fills in the additional information, if any.
• The taxpayer approves the "Declaration that the information is correct", then clicks on the "Submit" button.
• A message will be sent to you containing the application reference number.
