Request for a Fine Refund (Public Prosecution)

Concerned individuals or their representatives in accordance with legal agencies issued by the Ministry of Justice, may submit a request for a fine refund, after verifying the applicant's status, his/her relationship to the case, and the termination of the case by a decision of the Public Prosecution or by a court ruling after its enactment, or if the Public Prosecutor's Office does not appeal to him/her. This request is subject to the approval of the Public Prosecution.

Online Instructions

  • Login to the e-services portal of the Public Prosecution using Hukoomi user account.
  • View the “Services” menu, click on “Financial Requests”, and select “Request for a Fine Refund”.
  • Add the notice details including the “Case Number” and “Case Year”, and select the “Police Office”.
  • Fill out the application form and attach the following documents:
    • Copy of the Receipt issued by the Public Prosecution
    • QID or Passport Copy
    • Copy of the Judgments
    • Form issued by the Bank including the IBAN Number
  • Click on “Send”.

Offline Instructions

  • Visit the Public Prosecution building during the official working hours.
  • Submit the paper form, after it gets filled out and printed, to the Public Prosecution, along with all the necessary documents and information.

Additional Information

  • After the request gets submitted, the applicant will receive an SMS confirming the request receipt.
  • After reviewing the request, the applicant will receive a message to confirm whether the request got approved or rejected.
  • This service is available online around the clock or by visiting the Public Prosecution building during the official working hours, from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
  • This service requires three business days to be completed.
