Service Description
Owners of licensed fishing ships and boats may submit a request to the Assistant Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries Office at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) to receive loans in order to purchase engines, fishing tools and fish transport means to fishermen, upon the specified terms and regulations.
Offline Instructions
- Download and fill in the paper form, then submit it to the Assistant Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries Office.
- Submit the following documents:
- Copy of QID of ship/boat owner
- Valid ship/boat registration certificate (issued by the Ministry of Transport)
- Copy of ship/boat permit
- Ship/boat entry and exit movement document, issued by the General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security
- Loan details
- Quotation

Additional Information
- In case of rejection and not meeting the terms, the applicant is notified via SMS.
- If the application is approved, the technical opinion is adopted and a letter is prepared to Qatar Development Bank with a survey report and loan disbursement approval attached.
- This service requires seven days to be completed in order to grant the required approvals.
