Description
You can submit request to the Security Systems Department affiliated to Ministry of Interior (MOI) to get Customs Shipment Clearance of Camera and CCTV Devices. SSD issues customs clearance certificates for Camera and CCTV devices from one of the customs ports of Qatar.
Online Instructions
- Log in with your smartcard to the e-services portal of MOI.
- Click on "Security System Services" then "Custom Approval".
- Fill out the required information about the owner and the product.
- Attach the required documents (Certificate of Origin, Product Catalog and Product Certificate).
- Click "Submit "to send your application to Security Systems Department.
Additional Information
- Use of the Qatari Smart Card is mandatory for companies and persons.
- If the shipment is for personal use, provide the installation address.
- The owner or the Customs Clearance Agent (CCA) cannot be restricted or black-listed.
- The owner company (Legal Personalities) cannot be restricted or black-listed.
