Description

Individuals, private sector companies, and governmental institutions may submit a request online on the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) website to remove a partner from small crafts’ ownership.

Online Instructions

  • Login to the National Authentication System.
  • Select the craft to remove a partner from its ownership, and enter the required data.
  • Attach the following documents:

  • Valid QID copy
  • Valid Commercial Registry copy if the owner is a company
  • Signature of the new owner or his/her authorized signatory

  • Pay the appropriate fees.

Offline Instructions

  • Download and fill out the application form.
  • Submit the application form, along with the required documents mentioned above, to the Maritime Transport Planning & Licensing Department to complete the process.

Fees

  • Private ships: QR50
  • Fishery/ferry/tourist ships: QR100
  • Yachts: QR500
