Description

Persons who are interested in operating Remotely Piloted Aircrafts Systems (RPAS) can obtain the necessary licensing to operate aircraft from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the State of Qatar.

Any RPAS operation in the territorial airspace of the State of Qatar without a prior consent from the CAA is prohibited and poses a serious threat to safety and air navigation of the State.

Online Instructions

• Access the CAA website and click on "RPAS Operation Application" from the "E-Services" menu under "Aeronautical Information Management."
• Fill out the online application form by entering the following details:
• Name or Project Description.
• Choose the activity operation (if it is for "Photography" or "Videography" or "Survey" or "Inspection").
• Choose the RPAS needed for operation ("Drone" or "Model Aircraft").
• Fill out the required details by clicking on Part (1) Applicant Details, Part (2) RPAS Operator Details, Part (3) RPAS Activity Details, and attach the required documents in Part (4).
• Type the verification code and click on "Submit."

• You must complete all the details per each step before moving to the next one.
