Service Description

Students who would like to study through homeschooling or those who’s daytime registration does not apply, can register in the adult education program for the current academic year.

Currently enrolled students in the adult education program can study from home or register at any of the evening schools that are specifically open for that.

There are two approved types of curricula used for adult education. The first curriculum belongs to the daytime adult education from Grade 5 to Grade 12, while the second is for the literacy classes who have their own textbooks and customized curriculum that differs from daytime education.

Application Requirements

  • Application is open for students whose mandatory education conditions do not apply (those who are over 18 years or finished preparatory school).
  • Students who got dismissed from daytime study (due to marriage, frequent failure, or work).

Offline Instructions

  • Visit the school to submit the following documents:
  • Valid QID + copy
  • 4 photos
  • Original passport + copy
  • Attested copy of the most recent academic certificate.
  • A statement from the student's employer (if any).
  • Certificates obtained from outside Qatar must be attested by Certificates Equivalency Section at the Ministry.


  • Q.R 1000 for Non-Qatari students who are not from GCC countries.
  • Q.R 1000 for Qatari Students and children of GCC countries who missed previous exams without an excuse.
  • Q.R 2000 for Non-Qatari and Non-GCC students who passed previous exams without an excuse.
