Service Description

This service enables establishments to register their interest to form a committee as to become part of the joint-committees.

Online Instructions

  • Open “Registering in Joint-Committees Platform” service, then then click on “Apply”.
  • Select registration method “QFC, Establishment Portal, Government Entities” from the ‘Login Method’ list.
  • Log in to the National Authentication System ‘Tawtheeq’ using a smart card.
  • Enter all the required details.
  • Confirm the details and submit the application.

Service conditions and requirements:

  • Conditions:
    • The establishment shall not be previously registered in the Joint Committees Platform.
    • A new application shall not be created if there is a registration request on the Joint Committees Platform (in process).
    • There shall be more than 30 workers in the establishment and all shall meet the following conditions:
      • They have been employed for more than a year.
      • The employee shall not be occupying one of the high positions in the establishment.
      • The worker shall be an employee of the establishment according to an employment contract with the employer or a third request certified by the competent department.
      • The worker shall not have been sentenced to a final judgment in an offence prejudicial to honor or integrity unless the worker has been rehabilitated.
      • The worker shall not have been subjected to a disciplinary sanction from the sanctions stipulated in Article No.59 of the aforementioned Labor Law.
  • Requirements:
      • A smart card to verify the identity of the person authorized in the establishment to use the service through “Tawtheeq”.
      • Service Submission Timings: Sunday to Thursday, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Fees

No fees are required for this service.
