You can register at Qur'an study centres provided by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs all around the state of Qatar.
Application Process
Please follow these steps to register at Qur'an study centres:
Select the centre you wish to study at.
Complete the student registration form on screen.
Click “Save Data”.
Each student’s data will be filled in and signed by a guardian or parent along with a recent photo, and a copy of the birth certificate or passport.
Conditions
Students are accepted between the age of (5 and 22 years old). Older students may be accepted at the centres where adult study sessions are held providing they are completely separate from the children classes.
The maximum number of students at each centre should not exceed (250) for the evening classes and (100) for the day time classes.
Accepting a student is subject to being within the geographical proximity of the centre from his domicile. Exceptions can only be made after the approval of the head of section for special circumstances that are required to be clearly justified.
The maximum number of students at the evening classes should not exceed (125) and (100) students for the day time classes.
Non-Qatari percentage depends on the approximate percentage of non-Qatari residents at the neighborhood of each centre.
Transferring a student from one centre to another cannot be carried out except after submitting an application of transfer explaining the reason for the request. It will be forwarded to the head office for approval then approved by the head of department.
Additional Information
Official office hours are from Sunday to Thursday. Official holidays are off and working hours are divided into two periods:
Evening: from Asser to Isha at all centres.
Morning: from 8.00 am to 11.00 am at the centres where day time classes are taught.
