Qatar University supports a wide variety of scholarships recipients each academic year in order to attract highly qualified students. While the vast majority of academic scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and scholarly achievement.

Scholarships contained within this guide include only first bachelor students and students who transfer from other universities to Qatar University. Non-degree applicants, visiting students and applicants seeking a second bachelor's degree are not eligible for academic scholarships offered by Qatar University. Apply for scholarship for newly admitted students

Newly admitted students once they get admission decision by the university, they will receive an email with a link to be able to apply for a scholarship.

Apply Online for current students

  • Log in Qatar University portal and fill out the online application from.
  • Click on "Apply for Scholarship" through the window "My Banner Quick Start Menu".
  • Select the required scholarship type and semester.
  • Attach the required documents for students applying for Children of Qatar University Employee scholarship, you can view them through this link.

Additional Information

  • All scholarship applicants will be notified of the Scholarship Committee’s decision by e-mail regardless of whether they have been selected to receive a scholarship award or not.
  • Failure to provide required documentation will result in the rejection of the scholarship application.
