Description

This service is provided for landlords to receive back the keys of their leasehold from tenants, and it targets government and semi-government entities (companies and institutions) as well as individuals (any natural or juridical person).

Offline Instructions

  • Download and fill out the paper form, then submit it to the Rental Disputes Settlement Committees Office.
  • Attach the following documents:

For individuals:

  • Lease contract.
  • Copy of Qatari ID.
  • Letter addressed to the Head of the Rental Disputes Settlement Committees Office.
  • Copy of last lease receipt of payment.
  • Notice from tenant to landlord of no desire to renew the contract.
  • Certificate from “Kahramaa” proving payment of receipts.

For institutions and companies:

  • Lease contract.
  • Letter addressed to the Head of the Rental Disputes Settlement Committees Office.
  • Copy of establishment ID.
  • Copy of commercial registration.
  • Copy of last lease receipt of payment.
  • Notice from tenant to landlord of no desire to renew the contract.
  • Certificate from “Kahramaa” proving payment of receipts.
  • Authorization in case of representative.
  • Copy of Qatari ID of authorized person (if any).

  • The service procedures include filling in a key relinquish record.
  • The Ministry of Municipality and Environment clarifies on its website the process plan of the service in detail and in the form of a work plan.
  • This service requires one hour to be completed, except for the procedures of registered mail and key relinquish to the landlord.
