Service Description
The missions of the State of Qatar abroad issue transit tickets for Qatari newborns abroad after addressing the Nationality and Travel Documents Department at the Ministry of Interior.
Offline Instructions
- Submit copy of passports or ID cards of parents, indicating ID numbers.
- Attach copy of the birth certificate authenticated by the official entities and the Qatari mission, in addition to two personal photos.
- The mission of the State of Qatar abroad immediately addresses the National and Travel Documents Department at the Ministry of Interior. After receiving a reply, a transit ticket is issued and this includes an approving authority.

Additional Information
Transit ticket is valid for three months from the date of its issuance. It is also valid for only one single trip to the State of Qatar.

Prescribed fees are QR20.
