Service Description
The missions of the State of Qatar abroad issue transit tickets to Qatari citizens outside the State of Qatar when losing their passports. This is made after addressing the Nationality and Travel Documents Department at the Ministry of Interior.
Offline Instructions
- Report loss of passport abroad at the nearest police station.
- Attach copy of passport or Qatari ID, identifying ID number, along with two personal photos.
- The mission of the State of Qatar abroad immediately addresses the National and Travel Documents Department at the Ministry of Interior. After receiving a reply, a transit ticket is issued and this includes an approving authority.

Additional Information
Transit ticket is valid for three months from the date of its issuance. It is also valid for only one single trip to the State of Qatar.
Fees
Prescribed fees are QR50.
