Service Description

Companies may submit a request to the Maritime Transport Planning and Licensing Department at the Ministry of Transport (MOT) to issue an initial approval for the commercial license of maritime transport activity. 

An initial approval shall be issued in cases (issuing/renewing/cancelling/adding or deleting activity/adding branch/amending data.

Offline Instructions

• Download and fill out the paper form.
• Submit the form to the Maritime Transport Planning and Licensing Department.
• Attach the following documents:

• • A copy of commercial register data abstract
  • A copy of owner ID card
• After meeting all requirements, please submit the application as well as the required documents via the Maritime Transport Planning and Licensing Department's email address: maritimetransport@motc.gov.qa.
