Description

This service enables health practitioners to issue e-sick leave certificates for their patients.

Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) has launched the Central Electronic Governmental Sick Leave System (e-Jaza) in order to standardize the issuance of sick leaves in the country and approve only the ones issued by medical practitioners with valid licenses from QCHP.

The system aims at reducing time, effort and cost in issuing and verifying sick leaves as well as decreasing the errors that happen from manual sick leaves.

The system also helps eliminate the misuse and forgery of sick leaves by standardizing and unifying the procedures.

Online Instructions

  • Sign in to your practitioner account, entering your username and password.
  • Click on “Issue e-Jaza”, then fill in the online form with the required information.
  • Click on “Submit”, and the e-Jaza will be issued in PDF format.
  • Print the e-Jaza, sign it and stamp it with both your practitioner stamp and facility stamp.

Additional Information

  • Only healthcare practitioners licensed by QCHP and authorized to issue sick leaves can use this service.
  • A patient’s QID or passport is used to identify him/her.
  • All government and private institutions only accept sick leaves issued by QCHP e-Jaza system.
