The Health Control Section of the Municipal Control Department undertakes inspecting and following up on the complaints it receives from individuals, the police, the media and the customer service offices against food establishments and different shops regarding public health.

This is carried out in collaboration between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and the competent entities, such as the policies stations, the labs of the Ministry of Public Health and the Communicable Diseases Center at Hamad Medical Corporation.

Online Instructions

  • Fill out the online form, entering all the required information.
  • Enter complainant details (name/ cell phone number/ QID number).
  • Write complaint details, place subject to complaint, time of violation, time of complaint.
  • Attach purchase or service delivery receipt, and medical report from Hamad General Hospital in case of food poisoning.
  • Click on “Submit”.

Offline Instructions

  • Visit the Customer Service Office at the competent municipality.
  • Provide above-mentioned information and supporting documents.

  • This service is also available on baladiya mobile app or via the Government Contact Center at 184 or through the social media channels of MME.
  • MME clarifies on its website the process plan of the service in detail and in the form of a work plan.
  • This service requires 4-6 days to be completed.
