This service enables individuals and companies to submit a request online, on the website of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), to update and sign external work contracts after adding them through the “Issue Visa” service. It displays a list of visas related to the expatriate or establishment. Based on the status of the work contract, the contract can be updated or signed.

The service is also available through the “Issue Visa” service if the case requires adding contract details to issue an entry visa for some nationalities.

Online Instructions

  • Login with your smartcard to MOI e-services portal.
  • Select “Visa Services”, then “Examination Procedures outside Country”.
  • Select one of the available options to display list of visas related to the user and requiring documentation as well as the status of the work contract for each visa.
  • Update or sign contract, then pay appropriate fees.

A fee of QR490 applies.

Additional Information

  • The user shall own a smart card to use the service and have “e-government service” added to the card.
  • When issuing a work visa using “Issue Visa” service, the system will request the user to enter the contract details for specific nationalities previously determined in the Visa System. The user can then update the contract details through the “Examination Procedures outside Country” service.
  • For Establishments: The authorized person can only review and sign (accredit) the contract then pay service fees after the final approval is issued as per the steps followed in the Entry Visas System.
  • The visa cannot be printed or used unless all new requirements for work contracts are met and such contracts are signed by the employee and the employer for specific nationalities previously determined in the Visa System (For more details about the new complete workflow of the work contract, please contact those in charge of the Entry Visas System).
  • This service can be obtained at any time and once the user completes the transaction.
  • This service is also available via Metrash2, as well as MOI self-service kiosks and services centers.
