Service Description

Tumooh is a scholarship program that sponsors secondary school graduates to work as a teacher upon their graduation from the College of Education at Qatar University.

The program is meant for Qataris, Children of Qataris, and Qatar born residents, GCC Citizens, and Qatari Document Holders.

Enrollment Conditions

  • The student should have received their education in Qatari Schools (Children of Qatari Mothers are exempted).
  • To obtain the secondary school certificate or its equivalent with a percentage not less than 80%.
  • Grant an unconditional acceptance by the College of Education at Qatar University in any of the available majors in the latest scholarship study plan from the college of education.
  • Submit the application within the specified timeline for admission. 
  • Pass the personal interview with the concerned department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Online Instructions

  • Log in to the Government Scholarship Portal or Create a New Account.
  • Click on “Scholarship Request” and Choose “Internal Bachelor’s Degree”.
  • Click on “Apply” to initiate a new request.
  • Attach all the required document and fill out the application form.
  • Click on “Submit” after ensuring that all the entered data is correct.
