Description

You may view a list of the violating food establishments the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has closed as well as details about the closure of each through the MME website. The closure period is determined upon the estimation of the competent municipality director, based on the type and gravity of the violation as defined by the law.

Additional Information

  • Closure period shall not exceed 60 days each time, and closure shall be repeated upon recommitting the violation.
  • A closed shop shall not open or resume its activity or maintenance throughout the closure period, and violating this results in criminal responsibility.
