Qatar Computer Emergency Response Team (Q-CERT) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) provides this service to government entities and critical sectors, including small, medium and large-sized enterprises (SMLEs) to improve the current resiliency and preparedness of the national critical information infrastructure.
Q-CERT assists in designing, reviewing and validating business continuity and disaster recovery plans. This happens by offering subject matter expert advice, based on the international best practices in the domain, as advocated by organizations such as the International Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI) and Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
Upon the request of eligible entities, Q-CERT reviews, validates and offers recommendations with respect to the effectiveness and preparedness of that particular organization’s existing or planned DR/BC control measures.
