Individuals and companies may submit a request online to the Authentication Department, at the Ministry of Justice, to authenticate a private power of attorney between two parties, for all matters related to machines, equipment and devices.

Online Instructions

  • Login to Sak portal using your username and password on Hukoomi.
  • Select “Private Power of Attorney for Machines, Equipment and Devices” from the Authentications list.
  • Select applicant (First Authorized Party - Second Party), then enter the expiry date of the personal identification document.
  • Select the capacity from the “Capacities” list, enter the proof of identity for the capacity, and then click on “Add”.
  • Select forms (plate number, plate type, car type, license expiry date, ownership type, manufacture year, color, chassis number), then click on “Add”.
  • Attach the following documents:
  • Commercial Register
  • Trade License
  • Agency
  • Authorization
  • Personal Identification (Passport / Card)
  • Certificate of Inheritance of Heirs
  • Establishment ID number
  • Minors’ Affairs Letter
  • Documentation Copy of Machines, Equipment and Devices
  • Pay appropriate fees.

Offline Instructions

  • Visit any of the Single Window OSS branches affiliated to MoJ.
  • Provide all the required documents.

Additional Information

  • If the transaction is “resubmission”, the system displays the “rejected” application details, then the user reviews and modifies the data before resending the application in no more than 15 days from the rejection date or, otherwise, it is canceled.
  • If the application is not completed within seven days, the transaction is canceled.
  • The details of the party are verified through QID number - expiry date.
  • The applicant shall be a resident/citizen and registered in Hukoomi database.
  • In case the classification was selected (on his/her own), then the person should be Qatari.
  • The First Party in the transaction can be more than one person.
  • The Second Party in the transaction can be more than one person.
  • The First Party must have the right to appoint other parties, whether he/she is the owner or under the power of attorney, or authorized for power of attorney.
  • The applicant may not be repeated with the same identity or details proving such identity.
  • The transaction may be completed as well by visiting any of the single window OSS branches affiliated to the ministry or through Sak mobile app.
  • The application is submitted online, along with the approval of parties and the registrar, then the transaction - in terms of fee payment and printing of a documented contract – is completed at any of the MoJ branches or the ministry’s headquarters.


Applicable fees are as follows:

  • Three copies: QR100
  • Any additional copy: QR50
