Service Description
This service enables the taxpayer to appoint office of the taxpayer's representative (tax agent) to carry out all tax-related operations on his/her behalf such as tax registration, filing of returns and other tax affairs.
Online Instructions
Taxpayer requests engagement of Taxpayer Representative:
- Login to the National Authentication System (NAS).
- Select “Registration through Taxpayer Representative” service to appoint Taxpayer Representative.
- Click on Start Now after reading the instructions that appear on the screen after choosing registration through taxpayer representative service.
- Fill in the required information and select authorization date then click on "Submit".
Appointment of the representative of the taxpayer by the registered taxpayer:
- Login to the National Authentication System (NAS).
- Select “Assignment” service from “manage Taxpayer Representative”.
- Click on Start Now after reading the instructions that appear on the screen after choosing Assignment service.
- On the “Appointment of Taxpayer Representative” page, taxpayer must enter/select Taxpayer Representative ’s TIN from the dropdown list, with whom the Taxpayer wants to engage and select the services requested from the Taxpayer Representative from the available options:
- Income Tax
- Withholding Tax
- Excise Tax
- Select Authorization level and date then submit the application.
Disengagement of Taxpayer by Taxpayer Representative
- Login to the National Authentication System (NAS).
- Select “Disengagement” link from “Manage Taxpayer Representative”.
- Select the representative of the taxpayer with whom the relationship needs to be disengaged by click on the reference number to end.
- Submit the request by clicking on “OK”.
Additional Information
When submitting a request to appoint a designated representative, the representative of the taxpayer will receive a notification of his/her appointment by the taxpayer via e-mail, text message and PDF file, and the system will display a reference number for the request.
