Individuals, private sector companies, and governmental institutions may submit a request to the Planning and Maritime Transport Licenses Department at Ministry of Transport and Communications to write off small crafts.

Offline Instructions

  • Download and fill out the paper form.
  • Attach the registration certificate of the small craft.
  • Copy of the owner's ID card.
  • Identity documents in case the writing off is due to the craft's destruction.
  • Submit the application, along with the required documents, to Planning and Maritime Transport Licenses Department to complete the process.

  • This service takes 3 minutes to be completed.
  • This service is provided in collaboration with Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Municipality and Environment (Fish Resources Department), and Qatar Tourism Authority.
  • The ship's registration will be written off in case of the ship is destructed or exported to another country, carrying the new country's flag.
