Description

Local investors may submit a request to the Commercial Registration and Licenses Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to establish a limited liability company with multiple members.

Online Instructions

• Log in to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
• Select trade name of company and enter institution’s basic data.
• Attach the following documents.

• Articles of incorporation, after printing the document, filling it out and certifying it from the Ministry of Justice.
• Copy of personal identification document of partners, applicant and authorized signatory.
• Approval of entities concerned with commercial activities (in case the activity requires prior approval).

• Review and adopt application data summary.
• Pay appropriate fees to have the commercial register and Qatar Chamber membership issued.

Offline Instructions

• Download and fill out the paper form, then submit it to the public service officer at MOCI or any of its branches.
• Attach the above-mentioned, required documents.
• Pay appropriate fees to have the commercial register and Qatar Chamber membership issued.

Additional Information

• There shall be a reserved trade name to get the service.
• This service is also available on MOCI mobile app by selecting “General Services” then “Investor Services”, then choosing “Establishment Services” and “Establishment of Limited Liability Company”, and following the online instructions.

Fees

Applicable fees are as follows:

• Cost of incorporation: QR1,500 + activity fee + Qatar Chamber fees
• In case the name is not Arabic: QR1,000
• In case the name is a trademark: QR1,000
