Description
Local investors may submit a request online to the Commercial Registration and Licensing Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to change partners in the commercial register.
Online Instructions
- Login to the Investor Services, entering the username and password.
- Select the “Amendment of Commercial License” service, and then “Changing Partners”.
- Enter the institution’s basic data, and attach the required documents:
- Collective approval signed by partners
- Authenticated sale contract
- Approval of the tax department of the Ministry of Finance in case the selling partner is not Qatari
- Approval of the competent authorities for commercial activities in case the activity requires approval
- Letter from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice President or Managing Director in the case of joint stock companies
- Approval of the Companies Control Department in the case of joint stock companies
- Copies of personal identification documents or passport cards for non-Qatari old and new owners, in addition to those of the applicant
- Pay appropriate fees and submit the request.
Offline Instructions
- Download and fill out the paper form, then get it signed by the authorized signatory.
- Attach the above-mentioned, required documents, and submit them along with the signed application form, to the public service officer at MOCI or any of its branches.
