Citizens, residents and companies may submit their requests to the Traffic Department to approve a street closure for special occasions, construction work, demolitions, excavations or public diversions, among other reasons.
Select required transaction type (personal for smart card owner or company name for authorized person).
Click on “Traffic Services”, then select “Street Closure”.
Use “Applicant” page to enter and review the applicant’s basic information.
Use “License Details” page to enter information about the construction work license obtained from the competent municipality (in case of selecting demolition or construction work as reason for closure).
Use “Address” page to enter full address.
Use “Closure Timings” page to enter the start and end date and time of the closure.
Use “Attachments” page to attach the required documents, namely commercial license of company, title deed, municipality permit (in case of demolition or construction), QID of engineer and photos of requested location.
Use “Summary” page to review and confirm the entered information.
Click on “Send” to confirm submitting the request to the Traffic Department.
