Description

Expatriate students may submit a request to the Committee Reviewing Recruitment Applications at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) to approve the issuance of an educational residence visa to study in Qatar.

Online Instructions

  • Log in with your smartcard to the e-services portal of MOI.
  • Select “Visa Services”, then “Issue Visa” and choose “Apply for Educational Residence Visa”.
  • Fill out the required information, such as name, birth date and place, passport details, phone number and address.
  • Enter your email address, if you want to receive a soft copy of the visa application receipt.
  • Click on "Confirm” to issue the visa.

Offline Instructions

  • Visit the competent service center as clarified below.
  • Submit the following supporting documents:

  • Letter from accredited educational authority in the country
  • Good conduct certificate, certified by the concerned authorities
  • Proof of pass the required medical examination outside the country, as per the mechanism outlined by the concerned authorities.
