Description

Pharmaceutical agents and representatives and vaccine companies may submit a request to the Registration and Drug Pricing Section of the Pharmacy and Drug Control Department (PDCD) to classify pharmaceutical products.

Online Instructions

• Log in to the Pharmacy and Drug Control System (PDCD).
• Select “Pharmaceutical Product Classification” service and enter all the required information.
• Attach the following documents:
• Filled out Classification Application form

• Copy of commercial registration certificate, including activity in the medicated cosmetics products
• Registration certificate of agents of factories and pharmaceutical companies
• Certificate of composition
• Copy of product artwork
• One sample per each product

• Submit your application.

Additional Information

• The Certificate of Composition specifications are as follows:

• Issued from Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) or manufacturer
• Product ingredients with concentration and function of each ingredient.

• The following information must be available on the external packaging of the products:

• Name of the product
• The pharmaceutical form
• Package size
• Product storage conditions
• The name and address of the marketing company
• Manufacturer's name and address  
• Indications and contraindications
• Warnings
• Production date and expiry date
• Batch number
