Service Description

An engineering consulting office registered in the Local Offices Register may submit a request to the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting and Classifying Committee to change an owner or (add, replace, exit) a partner of the office in the register, after meeting the governing terms.

Offline Instructions

• Download and fill out the paper form, then submit it to the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting and Classifying Committee.
• Attach the following documents:
  • Copy of Qatari ID of current and new owner or partners.
  • Certificate of enrolment in engineers register (in case of non-Qatari partner).
  • Letter from the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs proving that the new owner or partners do not work in any government entity.
  • Letter from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce proving absence of any record of contracting or trade in building materials for the new owner or partners.
  • Sale, partnership or exit contract certified by the competent authorities.
  • Any other data or documents required by the Committee.

Additional Information

• In case the partner is juridicial (company), download and fill out the related application form, attaching all the required documents.
• The entity requesting the service shall be 51% Qatari (and above).
• The terms stipulated under Articles No.17 and 18 of Law No.19 of 2005 shall be met by the new owner or partners.
• Original copy of office document shall be attached for update purpose by the Committee.
• Office enrolment document, stamped and signed by in charge engineer, shall be filled before the Committee’s approval and attached in the form of a CD.
• The Ministry of Municipality clarifies on its website the process plan of the service in detail and in the form of a work plan.
• This service requires seven days to be completed.
