Apply for Additional Place of Work for Healthcare Practitioner

Service Description

Healthcare practitioners or healthcare facilities may submit a request to the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) at the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) to insert an additional place of work in the license along with the old practice or substitute for it.

Online Instructions

  • Log in to the Registration and Licensing System.
  • Click on “Apply for Additional/Change Place of Work”.
  • Fill in all the required information as per the highlighted asterisks.
  • Add additional place of work information.
  • Provide any additional information and uploads required.
  • Pay appropriate fees, then submit your application.
  • After submission, your request will show (Pending with employer) which means your authorized focal point should approve your request via the institution account.

Required Documents

  • Copy of valid passport.
  • Copy of valid QID (front and back).
  • A recent no objection letter from the employer for the addition/change of scope.
  • Copy of additional academic certificates relevant to the new scope (if applicable).
  • Copy of additional experience certificates (with an issue date) relevant to the new scope (if applicable).
  • Copy of the verification report for any additional documents.

Additional Information

  • Applications that do not meet the requirements mentioned above will be returned to the applicant a maximum of 3 times, and then rejected if all the requirements are not met.
  • Original documents/certificates might be requested on a case-by-case basis.
  • Any other documents required to support the application that are not mentioned above must be submitted upon request.
  • Any documents presented in languages other than Arabic or English must be translated to Arabic or English and attached to a copy of the original documents.
  • A case-by-case assessment may be implemented.
  • The employer's focal point shall approve the request through the institution's account.
  • Please check and keep up with the circulars issued by the DHP to get the latest updates of the registration/licensing requirements.
