Description

This service allow Qatari founders who wish to establish a professional association, to submit a request to obtain a professional association establishment licenses, following the provisions of Law No. (12) Of 2004 of Private Associations and Institutions and the amendments thereto, and decision of the Minister of Civil Service Affairs and Housing No. (2) Of 2005 to issue the forms of the contract or the document of establishment of associations and professional associations and private institutions.

Offline Instructions

  • Click on the "Request for Registeration of a Professional Association" after selecting the “Associations and Private Institutions Department” from the “E-Services and E-Forms” page's menu. 
  • Download and fill out the application form, and attach along the required documents including:
  • Three original copies of the Memorandum of Association (MOA) of the private institution
  • Three original copies of the Articles of Association (AOA) belonging to the Association
  • Minutes of the partner’s meeting held to appoint members of the Interim Committee to be responsible for managing the Association (under formation)
  • Copy of each member’s QID Card
  • Professional certificate of each member
  • Fill out and submit the Ministry of Interior‘s application form to issue a certificate of good conduct at the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID)
  • The applicants (No less than 20) declare as per the filled from, in accordance with Ministerial Decision No. (2) of 2005 regarding the issuance of the forms of the AOAs and MOA for associations, professional associations & private institutions
  • Pay appropriate fees and submit your request

Fees

  • For Issuing the Certificate of Good Conduct: QR 10
  • For paying the association fees: QR 50,000
  • For Paying the Annual fees: QR 10,000

Additional Information

  • Founding or joining members of the association must be registered in a professional records.
  • The applicant acknowledges to open a bank account in the name of the association in an accredited Qatari bank, to pay the association fees attaching along the original deposit slip, and provide headquarters.
