Service Description

Individuals who wish to establish a private institution, may submit a registration request to obtain licensing for establishing a private institution, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 12 of 2004 of Associations & Private Institutions and its amendments, and the decision of the Minister of Civil Service and Housing Affairs No. (2) Of 2005 on issuing forms for Articles of Associations (AOA) and Memorandums of Association (MOA) for associations, professional associations & private institutions.

Offline Instructions

  • Download and fill out the application form, and attach along the required documents including:
    • Three MOA original copies of the private institution
    • Three AOA original copies of the private institution
    • Minutes of the founder’s meeting held to appoint members of the BOD of the private institution
    • QID Card Copy
    • Fill out and submit the Ministry of Interior‘s Application form the issue a certificate of good conduct at the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) 
  • Pay appropriate fees and submit your request

    Additional Information

    • The applicant acknowledges to open bank account in the name of the institution in an accredited Qatari bank, to provide headquarters, and to pay the share capital of institution which should not be less than QR 10,000,000.
