About

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) confirmed the growing demand on e-services for individuals and companies during the current period after activating the crisis management plan and business continuity that it launched to support the work system, noting the readiness of the infrastructure necessary to complete the transactions in a record time without the need to visit the headquarters of government entities due to the precautionary measures taken by the Qatar to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.

At a time when the number of citizens and residents who complete their transactions through e-services in many government entities and institutions increased significantly, MOTC launched 10 policies and frameworks that serve digital transformation in government entities, as well as training more than 3,000 employees in the field of information technology.

This comes within a set of precautionary measures taken by the ministry to ensure applying the highest standards of prevention and health safety in various government entities to prevent the spread of the emerging Coronavirus "Covid-19".
