The State of Qatar has won membership of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council for the first time in its history on Group C for the next three years (2023-2025), following the elections held yesterday evening, at the meetings of the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly that are currently held at its headquarters in Montreal, Canada, with participation of delegations of 171 states entitled to vote out of 193 Member States of ICAO.
