Shura Council Discusses Draft Law on Regulating Ownership of Real Estate by Diplomatic, Consular Missions

The Internal and External Committee of the Shura Council held yesterday a meeting under the presidency of HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, the chairperson of the committee.

During the meeting, the committee discussed a draft law on regulating the ownership of real estate in the country by diplomatic and consular missions.

The committee decided to submit its report regarding the draft law to the Shura Council.

The Shura Council's committee concerned with internal regulations held yesterday a meeting with HE Dr al-Marri.

During the meeting, the committee continued discussing the chapters of the internal regulations, emphasising their complementarity and comprehensiveness, based on their importance in adequately framing and conducting the work of the council in accordance with what has been stated in the permanent constitutions of Qatar.
